This special issue of the journal reviews the developments in Mexico and Latin America of the incorporation of technology in education. The various writers attempt to take note of the various social, economic, and infrastructure conditions throughout the region (from the editorial, p. 1). Each article contains a bibliography of relevant print and on-line materials and the issue itself concludes with an annotated bibliography prepared by the staff of the Centro de Documentación para América Latina (CEDAL) del ILCE (pp. 83-105).
