- Editorial: Cyber Nautas en un mar de incertidumbres. The fact that the internet is perpetually accessible, interactive, freeing and publicly available allows the rich and poor to take part in it, albeit not always with the same political and social power leverage.
- Linnarz, Paul. Internet y los medios clásicos. Article discusses the digital divide that is clearly present between first world and developing nations and brings up the reality of who has access (throught education, financial, class means) to the internet in Latin America.
- Prieto, Rodrigo. Tecnófilos nadando en un mar de chips. Author urges to keep in mind that technology exists to serve humanity and not vice versa and there are those trapped and those liberated by technology (technophobiacs and technophiliacs).
- Ortiz, Daniel C. La importancia de internet en los medios de comunicacion. Addresses the theme of globalization and that it is aided by the vast network the internet creates that is both increasingly versatile and powerful.
